Box One 11S-schakelpook

After years of service my shifter finally bit the dust. It was the best 11 speed shifter out there, you could downshift with fingers over the bars. I hope they bring it back.

Honestly I wanted this to work so badly, so I could support smaller companies but it just was very hard to push. It did eventually loosen up. But the box 1 derailleur bolt failed and the box 2 cassette failed after 4 rides as well so I just took everything off.

I recently purchased a bike that came with Box groupset. On my 4th ride somehow my shifter lever snapped off....no crash occurred. I think, as I was starting a lowside slide, I threw my leg out to prevent going down, the lever snagged on my shorts. I heard the metal snap and the piece went flying into the under brush. Up until that moment I had really loved the setup.

Since I am not the original purchaser the warranty doesn't apply. Now I am trying to decide if I want to just swap over to another brand since this is the only shifter I have had in 11 years of riding that has broken. Thing is, I love the rear cassette gear ratio.

This company warranted my derailleur when it broke no questions asked I will always buy Box Component products when available.
