Box One™ 120 TPI vouwbanden zijn ontworpen met een minimalistische aanpak om hoge doelen te bereiken voor gewicht, tractie, rolweerstand en rebound. De kern is een supersoepele 120TPI-behuizing waar we zoveel mogelijk rubberverdringend nylon in hebben geperst. Skin walls worden gebruikt om de weerstand te verminderen en het gewicht verder te verlagen. We flankeerden de behuizing met hoge dichtheid met een strak gepakte hoepel van aramidevezels. Tot slot hebben we dit alles gedrapeerd met BMX-racespecifiek loopvlak dat overgaat van een middenband met een groot contactvlak naar unidirectionele voelbare noppen aan de zijkanten. Deze agressieve combinatie zorgt voor maximale tractie bij het starten, immense hechting in de bochten en lage rolweerstand op de rechte stukken. Een ultramodern mengsel van verbindingen wordt gebruikt in verschillende gebieden van de top, wand, hielzitting en het midden - met een hoger silicagehalte in het loopvlak om opnieuw meer gewicht te verwijderen.

Well worth the switch

Fast and.light better for wet tracks.

Stick to anything but don't last

My 8 year old inter, now expert, ran these for three months front and rear. Packed dirt and one glued track. Once a week racing. They stick to anything, but fall apart quickly. The rear center tread is almost bald and the rear shoulders starting falling off in chunks. The front shoulder tread is worn badly. These are pro level tires meant for pro level racing where tires are changed every few races. The Box One tires have no longevity. Understand you are getting a top tier race tire that has been designed with compromises, the main one being longevity.

Great! … When they don’t fall apart

Nice tread and lightweight tires … BUT I have had 5 in the last 6 months that either bubbled like a golf ball or just completely separated along the center within days of install. It’s a coin toss if these will hold up or not and it’s not cheap to find out.
